Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, a.k.a. Wizkid, was born in Surulere, Lagos, on July 16, 1990. Twelve sister siblings and an interfaith family made up his upbringing. His father follows Islam, but his mother is a Pentecostal Christian. Ijebu Ode Grammar School was where Wizkid studied.
